Fabric: middle weight cotton with lycra.
Burda introduction for this pattern is: "This narrow
silhouette skirt is one a jet-setter would wear in the sixties. It sits at
natural waist and has waist pleats that give the skirt a nice tulip effect."
I am not a jet-setter, and I haven't achieved the
sixties look with choice of fabric and the skirt length. My skirt is 10 cm
longer and has fifties look which I prefer more. I am so pleased with this
skirt. I’m sure I'll wear it a lot this summer.
