Casual day dress

Forth project from the book: Sew Many Dresses, Sew Little Time by Tanya Whelan.

This time I decided for casual day dress.The dress is combination of mock-wrap bodice and full dirndl skirt.

I am not satisfied with the result. My choice of fabric and wrap bodice pattern results with "granny" look, what I do not want to achieve (be).
