Sultanahmet
area often called the heart of old Istanbul. Major attractions and landmarks
are in this district.
The
Hippodrome was a circus that was the
sporting and social centre of Constantinople. Today it is a square named Sultan
Ahmet Square- Sultanahmet Meydanı
