My summer sewing

Well, I'm sewing but not writing about it. Again.
The summer is over and most of my sewn garments are irrelevant for upcoming season. But I am still going to post some pictures, just to keep on track with my on line sewing journal.
First I done some refashion.
Do you remember my Shirred summer dress from 2009? I wore it a lot.
Now it is new dress, adapted to this season ultimate cold shoulder trend.
It was easy sewing. Most difficult part was to rip off smocked part. Fortunately the previous dress was wide enough, so it was possible to cut the ruffle part from the width of the dress.
And voila! New dress and trendy girl.
Gold lace is recycled from green skirt I also made in 2009.
Fabric: Cotton
Alterations: made just one ruffle
Dress- pattern Burda Style 4/2010 model 112B
Shoes:-Deichmann
Belt- H&M
