Slouchy beret crochet pattern

Winter is late this year, but that’s not reason to ignore yarns and hooks.
This time- one more beret/hat pattern.
I hope it will be cold enough to wear it.

Size: head circumference 54-56cm (21, 5 - 22 inches) 
Finished measurements:Approximately 27cm(11 inches) across 
Yarn: Unitas – Ana - Sport / 5 ply- 2skeins
45% Wool,35% Acrylic,10% Rayon,10% Cashmere 
Crochet hooks size:  5,5mm

Stitches:  
Dc - double crochet
Sc - single crochet
Sc2tog-- single crochet 2 stitches together
Dc2tog - double crochet 2 stitches together
Sl st – slip stitch
Ch – chain

Rnd 1: Ch 4, 15 Dc in 4^th chain from hook, sl st to join (16st)

Rnd 2: Ch 3(counts as first Dc), 1Dc in same spot as Ch, 2Dc in each stitch around, sl st to first Dc to join. (32 st) 
Rnd 3: Ch 3, 1Dc in same spot as Ch, 3DC, *2Dc in next st , 3Dc* repeat from * to * 7 times, sl st to join. (40st)
Rnd 4: Ch 3, 1Dc in same spot as Ch, 4DC, *2Dc in next st, 4Dc* repeat from * to * 7 times, sl st to join. (48 st)
Rnd 5: Ch 3, 1Dc in same spot as Ch, 5DC, *2Dc in next st, 5Dc* repeat from * to * 7 times, sl st to join. (56 st)
Rnd 6: Ch 3, 1Dc in same spot as Ch, 6DC, *2Dc in next st, 6 Dc* repeat from * to * 7 times, sl st to join. (64st)
Rnd 7: Ch 3,1Dc in same spot as Ch, 3DC, *2Dc in next st, 3Dc* repeat from * to * 7 times, sl st to join. (80st)
Rnds 8-13: Ch 3, 1Dc in each stitch around, sl st to join. (80 st)
Rnd 14: Ch 3, 2Dc, Dc2tog, *3Dc, Dc2tog * repeat from * to * 15 times, sl st to join. (64st)
Rnd 15: Ch 2, 1Sc, Sc2tog, * 2Sc, Sc2tog* repeat from * to * 11 times, sl st to join. (48st) 
Rnds 16 and 17: Ch 2, Sc in each stitch around, sl st to join.  (48st)
Fasten off.

Embellished Basic Crochet Beanie

This is a simple pattern I often use for making beanies.

 

Size:head circumference 54-56cm (21,5-22 inches)

Finished measurements:52cm around and 19cm from the base to the top before stretching.

Materials:170m Bulky yarn

Crochet hooks size:5mm or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 12 Dc’s= 10cm, 9 Rnds = 10cm

Stitches: 

Dc - double crochet

Sc - single crochet

Sl st – slip stitch

Ch – chain

Beanie crochet pattern:

Make Magic loop

Rnd 1: Ch 3(counts as first Dc), 9 Dc in a magic loop, join with a slip stitch in the top of ch3.  Pull tail to tight the bases.(10 st)  

Rnd 2: Ch 3, Dc in same spot as Ch, 2Dc in each stitch around, sl st to first Dc to join. (20 st) 

Rnd 3: Ch 3, 2Dc in next st, *Dc, 2Dc in next st * repeat *-* 9 times, sl st to join. (30st)

Rnd 4: Ch 3, Dc, 2Dc in next st, *2Dc, 2Dc in next st * repeat *-* 9 times, sl st to join. (40 st)

Rnd 5: Ch 3, 2Dc, 2Dc in next st,*3Dc, 2Dc in next st * repeat *-* 9 times, sl st to join. (50 st)

Rend 6: Ch 3, 3Dc, 2Dc in next st,*4Dc, 2Dc in next st * repeat *-* 9 times, sl st to join. (60 st)

Rnd 7-13: Ch 3, Dc in each stitch around, sl st to join.

Rnd 14: Ch 1, Sc in each stitch around, sl st to join, fasten off.

Simple flower pattern:
Rnd 1: Ch 2, 6 Sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc
Rnd 2: *Ch 2, 3Dc, Ch 2, sl st in the same sc, sl st to the next sc* repeat *-* 6 times.  Fasten off.

This is a really simple beanie pattern for beginners. With different flower
embellishment each beanie will be unique and special. For more flower patterns look here.

 You can add a pin at the back of flower so you  can replace it.

 The flower can be made in color of scarf or gloves.

 With some beads for festive and sparkly look.

Embellished Basic Crochet Beret

Recently I received request to sell the pattern for snowflake earrings from my Etsy shop. Since the earrings are made using snowflake pattern that is not my design I could not sell it. I informed the lady about the source of the pattern and I hope it was useful. But, I got idea! LOL Why not sell patterns for berets and hats I made (designed).And here it is. My first written crochet pattern for very simple and easy beret. 

Of course the beret is embellished in my style with flowers.
