Travel: Italy-Ferrara and Padua

At the end of your Italian vacation,on the way home,we have visited Ferrara and Padua. It was raining all day, so we didn't see much, and I was disrupted in taking pictures. LOL But, I still have recorded some important spots.

Castello Estense-Also known as the Castle of Saint Michael
Monument of Girolamo Savonarola Dominican priest and religious leader of Florence, burned as a heretic.
Corso Ercole I d"Este
Palazzo dei Diamanti -   in reconstruction

Palazzo Municipale
"La coppia"- a typical Ferrarese bread dating back to the 12th century.
The tractor show in front of the castle

One of the best known symbols of Padua is the Prato della Valle
Abbazia di Santa Giustina-Abbey of Santa Giustina.
Basilica di Sant'Antonio daPadova-The Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua.
Donatello's equestrian statue of the Venetian general Gattamelata.
Palazzo della Ragione is a medieval town hall
The great hall, on the upper floor, have the largest roof unsupported by columns in Europe.
The walls of great hall are covered with allegorical frescoes.
