Travel: Italy-Padua

Whenever we don't know where to travel - Italy is a great choice.
So planning a trip for this year was easy.As they say: all roads lead to Rome.
The first stop on our trip was Padua. We were in Padua two years ago, just a few hours. It was raining that day and the city experience was not complete. We had more luck this year. The weather was nice, and we were in the mood to explore the city.
The city center is surrounded by the 11 km long city walls.
Prato della Valle greeted us with sunshine.
River Bacchiglione canals
The Basilica of Saint Anthony of  Padua was much nicer on such a beautiful and sunny day.
Piazza del Santo and Equestrian statue of Gattamelata.
Palazzo Romanin Jacur
So-called Tomb of Antenor- mythical founder of Padua.
Palazzo Comunale di Padova (Palazzo Moroni)
Palazzo della Ragione and the Marketplace
At the ground floor of Palazzo della Ragione  are typical shops with food and wines.
The daily markets at the both sides of  Palazzo della Ragione.

Torre degli Anziani
Pedrocchi Café known as the café without doors.
