White Cropped Jacket with Buttons

The essential thing in every wardrobe is a light summer blazer for chilly summer evenings or early autumn. Such  piece of clothing I planned to sew for so long.

Pattern: Burda 2/2011 mod.108

Fabric: cotton brocade

I opted for a white color. The fabric is from my stash, and I'm not completely satisfied with the choice. This white color has blue reflection because of fabric texture and it’s difficult to combine it.

Alterations: none, but I'm not happy with sleeves length. Sleeves should be a little shorter or completely long.

Blazer has no lining and all seams are finished with bias tape.

This is a great universal summer blazer that I will certainly sew again.

Butterfly dream dress

I wonder why I didn't sew this dress earlier.This is a type of dress I love and gladly wear.

Pattern: Burda 3/2011 mod.109

Fabric: Cotton

Alterations: This is a pattern for wedding dress, so I made it shorter. :) Also I made a "belt" from simple gray grosgrain ribbon and wrapped it around the waist with the bow.

I will certainly sew it again.

Meow

I am a "cat person", but unfortunately I can't have a cat. My son is allergic and we live in an apartment so I have to satisfy by following on instagram this cute Nala cat, or I can sew a dress with cat prints.
