Metallic tops

Z is for Zazzy Metallics
 Fabric: silver lame
Alterations: This pattern requires two layers of the same fabric. I used lame for top fabric and cotton batiste for lining.
I don't feel comfortable wearing this top. This silver lame looks terrifying with my skin color. Perhaps it can be worn under a black blazer, but will probably end up on a bottom of the closet.
Better result I have achieved with a black organza fabric.
Fabric: black organza with gold dots
I love this pattern. It is perfect for summer top (camisole) with spaghetti straps. Certainly it will be again on my sewing list.

Ladylike Dress

L is for Ladylike Blush
 Pattern: Burda 5/2014 mod.104
Fabric: cotton with elastane, lined bodice with cotton batiste
Alterations: Made the neckline less deep.Chosen fabric is too stiff and heavy for this pattern. Bottom part of the dress is so voluminous (full circle skirt) -too much for me.

J is for Jumpsuits
Fabric: black rayon jersey
Alterations: narrowed pants and omitted wide cuffs at the bottom.

This is so easy jumpsuit pattern. I like how it turned out. With different accessories it could be casual or dressed up version.

Lovely interesting versions of this jumpsuit at Russian Burda Style site HERE.
