U is for Understated Sheer

Pattern: self drafted, same used for dresses HERE and HERE 
Fabric: polyester organza for top and cotton batiste for lining

This polyester organza fabric has interesting story. My mom bought it in the United States when we were visiting her friend 32 years ago. Many times she was looking for perfect pattern for this fabric, but never found it. After she passed away I tried to find perfect purpose for this uncomfortable fabric. Polyester is so unpleasant to wear for me, but since it was my mom's selection I couldn't throw it away. Finally I realised, this top is the best choice. Lined with cotton it is not itchy and uncomfortable and evokes pleasant memories of our trip.
